Well, Miyamoto did say exactly that.

And as I understand it, the game-plays-itself feature disables saving when it's used. It's more of an instructive video.

Some guy that i don't remember said it best when he said the most story needed in a Mario game is "Thank you Mario! But our Princess is in another castle!" Nobody should ever complain about a lack of story in a video game. 99 times out of 100, a videogame's story is just a nuisance that delays the playing of the actual game.

Nothing about Galaxy 2 sounds bad so far. EAD Tokyo's trustable. The game's in good hands but part of me's sad they're not working on an original game instead like they planned on after Jungle Beat and before Miyamoto put a stop to that.

Mario Galaxy 2 is no more gratuitous a cash-in than every other sequel in the industry, it's just not Nintendo's typical MO. I'd be down for more though. Galaxy is the best thing Nintendo has done in recent years.

That completely takes MS off the hook for Halo 3 ODST. That's for sure.

Wasn't it said a while ago that ODST grew into something a lot bigger than an expansion pack? At least I remember reading that.
