its probably waiting for Home to launch for integration me thinks, so Home does it for them.In the comments section of his most recent post on the PlayStation.Blog, SCEA producer Takau Imasaki mentioned that in-game voice chat and a private race setting will be available for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue in later updates. Now this news comes in as semi-official as it was not part of the original post, but was made in response to a reader's question. Imasaki wrote, "Private races with buddies and in-game chat are all in the works... but will not be ready from day one. Will keep you posted on the progress!"
edit, also proper picture of the MGS4 LE Steel PS3.

The PS3 could have sold more units then Xbox 360 and Wii by now, but they're just waiting for Home to come out to sell them.
Home doesn't do anything for anyone automatically, B-ri. You might be right in that it'll coincide with Home's release, but it isn't some magic wand that works with all games.
Piss on a Home
I think some people will like it...but ultimately it's a useless endeavor from a gaming perspective.

Oh, so you mean that people will have to test to see if it work on a per game basis, just like they do with every game? And voice chat doesn't even work in UT3...
You don't just go
RunHome(UT3);
and it works

Hey I saw a couple posts above that referred to the PS3 network shit.
So, my PS3 kept disconecting when I had it connected to WiFi...couldn't hold a connection, it sucked. Jacked an ethernet cable into the back of it, and I now have less of a problem...but it still disconnects quite a bit and has problems.
I guess I'm just asking, the PS3 Wifi/ethernet is shit, correct? Or am I the only one having problems? 'Cause I thought it might be me, even though my 360 works flawlessly online.
I wish my $600 PS3 would do what it's supposed to.
