And here I thought I would escape the DD sales this week after the $10 I've spent on Steam. HC, Pac-Man, and PJS2 can't be passed up at those prices.

HC:U is only 600 points on 360 this week. I got it and so far I'm not feelin' it. I need to play a bit more and see if it grows on me. I just hate how slow the main character walks. Pressing to dash sucks.

You can also double-tap either direction to dash. Couple that with the various moves you have on B/O (like dodges, parries, kicking barrels/sandbags, etc.) you can literally dash though the stages... until you make a mistake, then you die. The movement in this game is out there; it doesn't play like the old Contra games. It feels like they took the physics from something like Guilty Gear and just applied it to a run and gun shooter. Hard Corps: Uprising has some issues but the game speed is not one of them.

The movement in this game is out there; it doesn't play like the old Contra games.

That's the problem. So far, it screams "I WANNA BE CONTRA!" but doesn't seem to hit the mark. Like I said, I'm still only at stage 3, so it has time to improve. I'm also assuming that things will get more Contra-like when I power up my character, yes?

I use a shitty Clear connection at work and Netflix streams just fine.
