Which part, the weak pacing, the shitfaced storytelling, or the over reliance on CoD-type scripted battle sequences over more open tactical stealth action?
Being in the middle of a war doesn't work for this kind of game. Also, I don't care for the controls at all. This game doesn't really seem to play or move like a Metal Gear game.

The plot in the game was written by a former crystal meth addict who escaped his habit by prescribing himself one (psychedelic) mushroom per day for a week, during which he wrote this script. At least, that's what I gather by the contents of the storyline.

The controller feels rinky dink.
The controller feels light and like some cheap ass plastic.
The beginning of MGS 4 is amazing. It's all about the octo camo. Learn to use it and love it.

Are you using ds3 or sixaxis? If you think ds3 is rinky, the sixaxis feels like it came out of a cereal box.
True story: the dualshock 3s that originally launched felt much better than what is sold now. Sony has cheapened the fuck out of them over the years...despite still being $55.
