This, basically. I play with my thumbs on the outsides of the stick, so when they're concave, I have far less to push against.

That happened to my wife's slim, but it was under warranty, so they fixed it for free. My OG model is still humming along.

I guess I'm going to find out! So far, it seems like I can, I'm just not sure if it'll affect my Blu-Ray watching at all.

I hate the idea of just having a dead HDMI port, but given that I'm no longer under warrantee, and I don't want to end up with the new style PS3, maybe I just live with it.
