Also spend some time just kind of bumming around downtown. Easy to find your own adventures. Part of what's cool about NYC is how easy it is to go off the script.

Make sure to take a jaunt in Greenwich Village to check out the locals (If you like people-watching, boy, you're in for a treat!) and don't forget to stop by Sammy's Noodle Shop. Everything on the menu is pretty good, but oh...Sammy's Sesame Cold Noodles...*drools*. I'll have to get some when I go back East for Christmas vacation.
