N+ seems like a good port. I like the interface and graphical improvements (60 FPS, high-res).
Problem is, it's hurting for content vs. the free version. The developer has already confirmed that they're going to put up lots of downloadable levels. If they're not free, I'm not buying the game in the first place.

a) make a game that's for pay only next time or
b) don't make a game at all because they had to take out a loan to make this in the first place.
