Nah, various TRON and Star Wars games from the ‘80s were better than Goldeneye. And all this mid-late ‘90s console FPS talk makes me want to try Disruptor on PS1 again. It was great at the time.

No one has tried any of the XNA trial games yet?? Dishwasher is the best one of the bunch. Its actually pretty damn nice and I await its XBLA release. Pretty much a 2D Devil May Cry style of game.

Jelly Car isn't too shabby but I didn't like the other games (Rocketball and Little Gamers were awful).

My job doesn't allow me to leave in the middle of work to go home and play decent to crappy homebrew titles.

Did you ever play Defcon 5?

Also, what was the name of that other PS1 FPS where you were in a mech going around some kind of arctic base, and like you had to get life energy and battery energy or else your mech would power down and you'd be stranded.

I briefly played the PC version of Defcon 5 but don't remember it well. That PS1 FPS sounds like Kileak.
