Jump cancelling is beyond easy with the pad. I kind of prefer it over twinsticks, but its very possible that's because its going on 6 years without touching an arcade version of this.

I've never even seen the arcade game, so I don't know what I'm missing.
Did anyone pick up Awesomenauts last week? With it being free on PS3 it was not an easy sell for me to want to pick this up for $10, even though I know about 300x more people on Xbox than PS3.

I bought it, and have been playing it damn near nightly.
I gave awesomenauts a try, didn't hate it, didn't like it a great deal either. I'd much rather play some minecraft with some people when I have a spare moment this week.
Minecraft does nothing for me but I love DOTA games. Making it 2d makes it more enjoyable too... like going from worms 3D to regular versions.

Are you talking about polygons vs. sprites or overhead vs. sidescroller? I ask because DOTA has 2D gameplay, so I'm not too clear on what you mean.
