I feel your pain, I'm still waiting for someone to come near my guardian heroes arcade score.

  2. So how are Sonic 4 Episodes I and II?

I saw Episode I is $5 in this week's sale.

  3. $5 is an acceptable price.

  4. I personally didn't care for the games... it just feels "off" to me. My fiance who is not much of a gamer but loved playing sonic as a kid (ie, she's not a jaded gamer like the rest of us) and she even felt that it wasn't very good. With that said, I have a friend who loved the shit out of both of them. Demos are nice.

I read somewhere that ep 2 is supposed to fix the physics, and that it would aslo let you play ep 1 with fixed physics. I hope that's true, the level design was pretty decent, the game just didn't control right. I'd give it another chance with fixed physics, and zoom the camera out, this isn't a Game Gear.

Physics are better, but not "fixed." They still feel off to me. They don't let you play episode 1 either, it just has a few levels from episode 1 you can replay for some extra mode. Not worth it.

  9. Yeah the controls seemed fucked up in the demo of Episode 1. I guess I'll stick with Sonic CD.

  10. This week's sale is live:
