Just checking. I remember what it was like when I was in college. I worked during the summer to pay for all the boozing I'd do during the school year (among other things ) and would only tap the parental funds for books, etc. Once I graduated though, I was on my own.

Glad to see you're not mooching too much, but then again, what are parents for?

  2. I used my parents money for beer and food only, Baseball scholarships FTW

Yeah, my parents pay for any school-related expense and for food. I refuse to, on principal, use their money for booze or smokes. I like to be as financially independent as possible while at the same time enjoy the last year of not needing to be financially independent. It makes me feel less terrible about the money I'm about to cost them for my trip to London.

But hey, I am purposely graduating a semester early for no other reason than to save my father a semester's worth of tuition.

Come 2009, I'm fucked. I'll hopefully have enough money saved up to last me until I land a job, though.

  4. Male gay hooker is an option to consider to get your through the tough times.

    So is female gay hooker.

    Wait...what?

    Fuck.

  6. Took the last Clairiton and put it in my pocket for later. I lost the damn thing and it is making the day a lot worse than it needs to be.

    Allegra ftw.

  8. Got into another car accident today, though thankfully minor. I was coming down a driveway when my brakes failed to stop my car due to the slippery road, and my front right bumped into the other person's front left. No one was hurt and both cars are otherwise in good condition (both need some paint and mine needs the light cover replaced) but that doesn't setop me from feeling like shit. One more big expense on top of the other ones I was hoping to work on this month, I am so fucked financially right now.

  9. Sorry to hear that Mech , especially since your car is generally awesome (Which means expensive)

  10. Perhaps it's time to take up smoking. I've been meaning to start.

Good thing I don't have an addicitive personality, and it'll help me save money.
