I disappointed Josh, I want to die.

I was going to be there about a week and spend most of that time with my buddy. Without him there providing lodging and transport, as well as entertainment (yes, mutual handjobs), I can't justify spending the money to rent a car and a hotel room for 6 nights after already paying for the ticket. I could afford to take it out from my VERY diminished savings ($5k has been used recently for my grandmother's needs in Peru and some shit in the family house in Miami) but then I will probably be strapped to make the rent, car insurance payments, dental bill (bye bye wisdom teeth imo) and a smattering of other random shit that always, always, always pops up in the real world.

Yeah, I could do that and be bored off my ass for the better part of the week to spend time with assholes I don't know (but admittedly would like to meet) for one day, but when I type out the pros and cons like this, well, it just doesn't seem worth it.
