Yeah, seriously. I stay as far away from the city as possible. I can recommend any kind of food you want in Long Beach, as well, but fuck LA. I had a friend visit a few weeks ago and she thought I was going to give her this grand tour and pick a super restaurant. We ended up going to that Italian place in the Hollywood & Highland mall thing that's attached to the Kodak Theatre. (EDIT: Wasn't half bad, but the restaurants in the city proper are overrated and too expensive.)

Josh, come down to the LBC. You can have dinner at a delicious Mediterranean restaurant (super friendly to veggies) with my parents, my roommate and myself.
