Sorry I missed out on this - my grandpa was hospitalized last weekend. He's had three surgeries so far, another tomorrow, fell out of his hospital bed because the fucking staff can't watch their patients and provide for them properly.

And...yeah. I spent my weekend seeing him and spending Easter with the family. If the SD meetup coincides with Comic Con, I'm totally in. If not, I still want to be in.

This is fantastic news, since my work is going through some new system and just put this out.

No vacations will be approved for the period of September 1 - October 10, 2008 so we can make final preparations for the conversion and ensure that we are fully functional on the new system.
