They had a song available as DLC for Guitar Hero II, they're signed to the massively popular (and trendy) Roadrunner Records, they're plastered are all over cesspools like Headbanger's Ball, Hot Topic, and shitty hard rock/metal magazines like Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Metal Maniacs, etc.
They've toured with Iron Maiden, Metallica, Machine Head, Korn, Killswitch Engage, Fear Factory, Ozzfest, Rob Zombie, et al.
Their 2005 Roadrunner debut has sold 145,000+ copies in the US and 100,000+ in the UK, with a peak Bilboard placement of #151 in the US and #78 in the UK. Their second album for Roadrunner (released in 2006) debuted at #25 in the US and #7 in the UK, selling 310,000+ in the US and 250,000+ in the UK.
Sure, they're not on the level of popularity Pantera, but they're still extremely popular for a band that's only been in the limelight for a little under two years.
They certainly suck as much as Pantera, if that counts for anything.

The first video was fucking great, and I did laugh once at the second vid, but that's because I know who Trivium was before hand. Not that I really ever got into them, they're ok as far as scream-until-you-cant-metal goes, but it's all fun when you're making fun of someone else's lyrics.
C'mon guys, just let wEEman get back to owning everyone on guitar hero.
