TNL Holiday Wish Lists 2007 - Get Gifts, Help Out

It's time to start updating your Amazon Wish Lists in preparation for the holiday season. Just like last year, post a link to your list here and browse through everyone else's. Amazon makes it easy to find out what your Internet buddies and real-life friends have their hearts set on, and the site even tracks what other users bought, so no one ends up with too many of the same thing. It's even smart enough to keep you in the dark about what's been bought, by showing you the complete list (by default) while your friends see only what's left to buy (by default).

Add to this all the free shipping offers and other fantastic functionality of Amazon, which is probably the most trusted and feature-rich merchant on the whole World Wide Web.

If you don't have an up-to-date list set up already, go to Amazon and sign in. Browse through the kajillion items available and add the ones you like (heavy on items $20 and under usually works best) to your Wish List using the convenient button on every product page. Then navigate to your List and retrieve your unique link as shown below:



The big red 1 shows the button to click ("Tell people about this list"). The big red 2 is next to the location of your personal Wish List address. That address is what you want to paste in this thread. I will go through and add your TNL name and Wish List address to this first post to make it easier for your friends to find everything.

By the way, you can request multiples of the same item, so if you like Microsoft Points, for example, you can assign a quantity greater than one (Points card). Otherwise, once one person buys the card, it will disappear from your list for the next person. It's amazingly easy, so just go to the Wish List and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Also by the way, I owe Melf and Kano from last year. Melf's didn't get sent (LOL, Puerto Rico shipping!) and Kano bought me a great gift after I had already reached my spending goal. If either of you buys me something this year, you'll get two things, and if you pass this year, you'll still get a gift.
