It's not like Opaque is any higher up on the totem than ironplant. He just approached it better.

It'd be front page and have a comic. That's really it.

This isn't some huge amazing idea (even though ironbutt wants to believe it is) it's just something to get the front page moving again and an excuse to get game and movie related comics drawn by the talented guys around here.

Blogs (read: useful blogs) have some sort of central purpose or message and the contributer(s) all have some kind of expertise in the subject that makes them interesting to read. You have to be interesting or funny. I'm not sure what TNLs blog would go under. The idea of using the community we have to generate content is a great idea, but you have to be organized enough to really make it work.

Nick seems more apprehensive to do something like this and have it falter after only 1 month of contributions (or worse, cause needless bitching and strife amongst the community, as buttcheeks has already demonstrated in this thread). If you're really in to a blog site why don't you put up a forum dedicated to your blog entries (which would just be regular posts). Keep it up for 2 months before having other people waste time on something you might not keep up.
