lol @ Bergen County. But the Wal-Mart around us is in Seacaucus and we have almost no blue laws.

  2. I finally saw four sitting in a case at Target today. It was tempting to grab one, but those I called didn't need one anymore.

  3. For the last year, I've had Wii Impulses. Like realizing I had some money put away, and deciding, "Hey I should go get a Wii." I probably did this like 7 or 8 times this year, and every single time I went to Target, Best Buy, Gamestop, hell even BJ's, they were sold the fuck out.

So I figured I'd just ask for it for Christmas. After that idea gets done raping me, maybe I'll just murder someone for one.

It'll probably be easier in the end.

For a couple of weeks I'd run across one or two a few months ago, but the supply has once again disappeared.
Forced bundling is total fuckery. I think a system should be sold with no games included- so the customer can choose their own first game. Other than the HDD, accessories should be ala carte.

The PS3 for $399 isn't a bad deal. Hell, $500 is fine for the 80 GB model. The one thing I don't agree with is including MotorStorm or any other game for that matter. Why not charge $450 and let the customer choose their own first game?

$600 for the music/party Wii bundle at GameStop? Blah. I don't care much for Mario Party 8 or that High School Musical karaoke game. To Hell with paying for games I don't want so I can have the system.

Because of stuff like this, I gave up and imported a Japanese Wii console. Yeah there's the region lock thing, but I'll just import my games. NoA lost a customer thanks to this forced bundling business.

NoA isn't forcing any bundles on you. It's retail chains that are. To blame NoA because gamestop, or frys, or best buy, or any other retail chain says you have to buy the game with all this other stuff is retarded. They're not the ones telling these retail chains they have to sell it that way.

Plus I haven't seen a single chain forcing Wii bundles at this point. If you can find them, you can buy just a Wii at any Gamestop, Best Buy, EB, Walmart, Target, or a shit load of other stores.

Exactly. The only places that I know of selling bundles are online.

  7. You can get them online pretty easily, so I don't know why anyone would buy through inflated eBay auctions.

  8. And pray tell, where are you finding MSRP, non-bundled Wiis online?

yeah please, my uncle wants to know.

There are no rules, only consequences.

  10. Maybe it's just in canada, but my sister got one online from either best buy or futureshop, and it wasn't a bundle.
