I would like very much to live in a world with space alien visits, genies, and gods, I just very much suspect we aren't in that one. Sounds interesting though!

Anyway found a vhs box set of Record of Lodoss War so I'm four tapes in to watching that. It is everything I hoped it would be.

Ugh, I found a ton of Lodoss War laser discs in Eugene but they wanted $20 a pop for them....

Do you remember what store? I got a friend near there who would love them. Or would buy them for me.

H'nope. Though that's about par for what they cost online.

$20 per disc for LD anime is about right. I think Lodoss was Japanese only though, bummer for me.

I've had pretty good luck with prices the rare times I'm able to find them in store. My biggest regret is not picking up the Final Fantasy anime for $2 a shot, I could have flipped 'em for so much.

Gohan, yeah! It was the St Vincent DePaul on south Seneca, at the one on the same street as the Goodwill. I mean this was a month ago so I dunno if they are still there but St Vinnie’s doesn’t seem to have this huge turnover in their media department. You may be able to talk a salesperson into giving you a discount if you buy em all, esp if they are still there.
