Thread: The "I Just Watched..." Thread

  1. lol, never seen disney musketeers, only seen old french and russian versions.. I am sure its an abomination of the classic novel, but I shall rent it next time I am at HV.

The Musketeer was quite bad, aside from HK fight choreography.

  2. Anybody who busts out "abomination of the classic novel" when talking about a Disney adaptation of something is probably not going to dig it.

  4. What a great design.

There was a lot of REALLY NEAT makeup/anamatronics/model stuff in that flick. Mean Machine Angel? ABC War Robot?

    All kinds of good stuff.

Which is kind of a shame.

  5. Yeah, a lot about the look of the movie is awesome, but then there's the issue of... y'know, everything else. But it's not like it's the worst movie I've ever seen! I always liked this:

  6. Geeez, Stallone sucks in that flick.

  7. Apparently Stallone fucked with a lot of decisions involving the project. I'm sure that he demanded the helmet come off so we could see his brilliant acting.

This is exactly why the star should not be co-executive producer. Judge Dread is that helmet. That is his face. WTF Stallone.

To make it even better, that motherfucker always looked (and sounded) like he just suffered a stroke five minutes before getting to the set.

Probably met Rob Schneider at a party and decided he was hilarious, too.

  9. LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWGHHHHHHHH

I dig the robot and cannibal hillbillys though

  10. Gone Baby, Gone.

I was very surprised by this one. The only reason I watched it was because I had heard such positive impressions, and I heard those for good reason. It was an outstanding movie. Well directed, well written, well acted, and for that subject manner, extremely heartfelt. I'm actually looking forward to the next movie Ben Affleck decides to direct.
