Thread: The "I Just Watched..." Thread

  1. Ok, rented and watched 3 Musketeers. Entertaining fluff, and I just turned off my brain and had some fun times with it.

Now I know where Jack Bauer spent his younger years. Training how to save President, hmm, I mean King from evil conspiracy, experience lost love from the woman he loved become evil There even was a SNIPER !!!!! and Keefer having 2 gun fights

Also, Porthos the Pirate was like a sketch prototype for for Jack Sparrow. Liked Charlie Sheen as well. Villains were fun, both Tim Curry and Michael Wincot can play some evil bad guys.

Didn't care much about future Robin though, and sadly there was bit much of him.

  2. Warriors - Havent seen this until now, so last time in the video store, I saw the box of this "classic" and decided to give it a try. After all I like Walter Hill, and enjoyed majority of his films.

So, I guess it was ok. Not too bad of what low budget gang flick. It full of badass late 70s atmosphere, and somewhat of grindhouse experience. Bit low on action though. It was interesting to see young James Remar too.

And god, Sally from Commando, that Arnold drops off, was fucking annoying with his: [Screech Voice + Bottles Banging]'Waaaaaariiiiooooors Come Out to Play !!!! [/Screech Voice + Bottles Banging]

    Caaaan you dig it !!!!

  3. Mystery Science Theatre 3000 "Space Mutiny"

    Classic hilarity!

  4. Watched I am Legend. It SUCKED. good idea and fx wasted. Zompires CG was horrid, and so was the script, some of Will Smith acting, both Ending, and whole lot more.

So, I need to know what Will Smith was saving his precious bacon for???? Also Shrek cast lines recital is a +

Hooray for Zompire Love Story !!!

I guess Lions > Vampire Zombies.

Will Smith Sucks at Deer Hunting.

I did feel sad about the dog.

That is probably the funniest episode of MST3K I've seen. At least the funniest Mike episode.

I actually saw part of Space Mutiny sans Mike and the bots at 4 am this past summer on a local channel. They cut out of really retarded shit from the MST3K version.

    Space Mutiny is Epic.

  7. Caught Brazil at a late showing last night. Last time i saw it was about 6 years ago and i barely remembered anything about it. Watching this and seeing shit like Tide Land just makes me think Terry Gilliam had a stroke or something. He was brilliant back in the day, and this is one of his best films. Really weird shit, though, and don't bother watching it if you can't sit through nearly 2 and a half hours. The ending is my favorite ending ever
    Donk

I really dug this movie too. The ending is just sad and messed up. I heard there was another cut of this movie that made it out to be happy.

The 94min Love Conquers All edit approved by Sid Sheinberg. There's the 142 min original cut seen in Europe, the 131 min cut prepped by Gilliam for the US, and the 94 min cut that Universal bigwig Sheinberg wanted. The Criterion Collection for Brazil includes the original and Love Conquers All cuts to show how dramatically different they are. Good collection to buy if you have the cash.

  10. MST3K is the dumbest show I've ever seen. When a dumbass white guy and his dick puppets yell at a screen on television it's hilarious but when blacks do it in your local theater you get upset. I don't understand why the fuck.
