8 Men Out, films about the whole black sox scandal thing...i thought it was an entertaining baseball film.
Watched Whale Rider, movie from a few years ago based on a Maori coming-of-age novel. Really well done.
The girl got a "Best Actress" Oscar nom, totally deserved.

In the Name of the King.-Got about 55 minutes in and turned it off. Its garbage but by Uwe standards its passable. The score to this makes it REALLY REALLY amateur. I could not believe the amount of known actors in this. LOL Ron "Hellboy" Pearlman has a large role. Heinous acting by him.

I watched The Darjeeling Limited and I really liked it. It is now my second favorite Wes Anderson movie after Rushmore. The movie was lush looking and full of his usual brand of humor. It also had some pretty sad parts to it as well. Great film.

watched Resurrecting the Champ last night. didn't like how at the end he got back with his family though. all he did was write a retracting piece. no word if he was still with Showtime, no info if Champ killed that kid or what happened there. decent otherwise.

I really liked this movie a lot. I teared up when she gave her speech about her grandfather (my memory may be fuzzy, is there a scene where she does that?)
Yeah, that was a really good scene.
It's totally broken that the movie got a PG-13 rating for a two-second shot of a hash pipe and didn't get half the audience it should have.
