I mean to fix it, buying Kubrick movies a la carte instead of in box sets is probably the only reason I didn't see it before 2000.

Nope, but all of his other efforts have either been one or the other. Never both at the same time.

I'm pretty skeptical of the dude. I don't think he's had a third act I've liked yet.

Memento was great top to bottom, but I haven't liked anything he's done since he hit the big time.
