Dirty Money on Netflix is actually really well done. I was expecting a Robert Reich-esque snoozefest but it's very well done and has very little biased narration.

ok so, obviously, everyone knows how I feel about Shkreli #freeshkreli but holy shit that Payday loan guy was SCUMMMMMMMMMMMYYYY. Did you notice his mom and his wife were like, indistinguishable from each other? so weird. I loved the forced crying when he had to talk about his brother.

So the wife threw on a “pick your own adventure” episode for Puss N Boots on Netflix. The kids liked it so she tried the other one show set up for this; Buddy Thunderstruck. I kinda groaned as it looked flat out dumb. Have to admit I actually enjoy it. It’s a complete rip of Southern racing culture mixed with the Dukes of Hazard. And it looks like something from the Neverhood.

Seemed real to me. It was just hard to care. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. The pharma stuff was worse because it undoubtedly caused deaths amongst the poor uninsured. The whole price gouging model was so obviously bad. I bet season 3 will have crypto bros on it lol.

The maple syrup cartel brings in almost a quarter billion for Canada. That’s why they don’t want a race to the bottom in that business. Those frogs could just move to New Brunswick or Ontario though.
