Thread: The "I Just Watched..." Thread

  1. #13931
    That sounds strangely cool.

Last night I was digging through the pile of unwatched movies and pulled out a beauty: Enter the Dragon. I actually somehow have never seen this in its entirety, it was awesome.

  2. I like Way of the Dragon more, Kien Shih just doesn't strike me as someone who can even put a scratch on Bruce Lee.

  3. #13933
Well he can but he had to use a claw

  4. Way of the Dragon doesn't have Jim Kelly.

    Jim Kelly was awesome.

  6. I showed EtD to a room full of erstwhile apathetic undergrads once. They got way into it.

  7. That movie is a gosh darn classic.

Trainspotting on the other hand, is my least favorite movie ever. I can't believe that 1. people like it and 2. people want a second one

  8. First 15 minutes of season 3 episode 1 Broadchurch. Fuck.

  9. Attempted to watch Captain America: Civil War but finally tapped out about 2 hours into this seemingly endless slog.

I don't understand how this is a movie. It's like the story mode for Injustic; an endless parade of character cameos with no development, story or motivation, all to set up action sequences that don't matter, and driven by a story that gets like 10 minutes of screen time in the whole movie.

  10. It's not a good movie, but it's a dynamite Nerd Experience the first time through. I'll never watch it again.
