its kinda how I feel about GOT, dumb as bricks but for whatever reason there was algorithmically created douchebag characters that I just fall in love with and can't stop watching.

I enjoyed the nostalgia, the demogordan/DnD theme and the "80s" ambiance (though how much of that is truly 80s remains up for debate). But other than that maybe it was just kind of cheesy melodrama. I'm still processing. I like bad stuff all the time, so this isn't a deal breaker for me. I just had high hopes.

This is the big problem with Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, GOT, and every other show that relies on plot above all else.
Stranger Things S1 was good but I wish it gave me more of a reason to revisit individual episodes.
