I watched the first two episodes of Wayward Pines. The premise seemed cool, Steph said it reminded her of "Those video games you play", which sounds about right, it's a little Silent Hillsy/Alan Wake-ish.

So, the big reveal amounted to "you thought you were watching Twin Peaks, but acually iz dolan Attack on Titan".

Montage of Heck. It was alright, but it just made me realize my opinion of Kurt Cobain as a tortured artist was completely wrong. He was a whiny emo little bitch. Even more so as an adult, yuck.

I marathoned through Halt and Catch Fire. It's Silicon Valley without the humor, and at one point even had a character that was the spitting image of Martin Star's character.
But I can only take one tech based show in which every episode ends with the sky falling, so I don't think I'll be keeping up with this one. I did like seeing all the 80's tech though. And it was neat hearing someone playing Mario with actual Mario sounds and not the standard Pac Man, Space Invaders, or Missile Command sound effects dubbed over everything.
