I was loving that show up until this season. It feels like they're kind of grasping at things for the characters to do now. I dropped out at episode two or three.

I started rewatching Breaking Bad. First season is far more rough than I remember it being, and Jesse is far more pathetic than I remember. I'm at the end of season 2. Thank god for Saul, he's about the only saving grace this season has so far. Jane was a good character until they turned her into a cliche.
Breaking Bad suuuuuuuuucks
I'm 3/4 of the way through Season 3, and yeahhhh. It's not like it's from THAT long ago, but maybe it's that enough time and super high quality shows have aired since it originally aired that maybe it really stood out against what it aired against then? Because when it aired I really, really dug it and thought it unique. Now...it's watchable but doesn't seem nearly as special.
The same character notes get hit every episode. Walt's pride gets him in a situation. Jesse's addictive personality gets him in a situation. Hank's tenacity gets him in a situation. Skyler's distrust gets her in a situation. etc.
Skyler was my least liked character the first time I watched the series. Now she's the only like-able (main) character in it.
Yo, straight up... it's not watchable at all. I tried so hard to understand what the big deal was, and the best I could do is "vicarious suburban danger porn"
It makes people who have never been dangerous feel dangerous? I don't know. You're the sociology major. You tell me!
Is that the big head lady? Ol' Big-Beha?
Captain Fishlips.
I loved Breaking Bad, but I did go back a couple of months ago and couldn't make it through the second episode. I'm not ready to write it off entirely, but I have no interest in going back.
