Its been announed over at the anime report on AICN. Fox announced a Dragon Ball Z movie. An Akira movie was announced a month or so ago. They haven't begun to work on either, but they do have the liscnece and are down the pipeline (I think the director of Blade 1 is really interested in Akira). There you go.

I knew about the Akira movie being made in the US, but not the DBZ Movie.
THE NINJA SCROLL live action movie is being made in the US as well, but I'm sure it'll be allot better than the Akira live action will.
Live action conversions of any cartoon(anime incl.) are just plain _wrong_ in my opinion. And all such conversions are due to be a steaming pile of shit.

Hey, G-Saviour wasn't made by the US or the Japanese um.... it was made by Canadians. No wonder it wasn't too great. The CG was okay though.
