Finally got my drums working again tonight, so I tried some of the stuff I've been stuck on for a few months ("Don't Fear the Reaper"/"Siva"), and somehow managed to limp through them!
Now I'm two songs away from "An-i-mal!":
The Who (which I've beaten a few times before)
Iron Maiden (which I've never gotten farther than about 60% on)
Just curious, has anyone else gotten "An-i-mal!" already? I know ep and dave play drums a lot.

I'm cockblocked on Don't Fear the Reaper. When the beat gets all mixed up towards the end I just can't hold it together. It sucks because I know I can get through Maiden and the Who.
Yeah I figured out a trick for that part:
ignore the red notes, hit everything else, and you can limp by. Basically you just want to be playing the same beat that goes on during the early verses:

Zero is onr of my favorite SP songs, but I'm not counting The Mother Hips out until I hear the songs. "The Time We Had" was a pretty good song. I don't see why they're not 80 points though. I thought they were an HMX band.

I can get through Hard just fine but I'm stuck on quite a few Expert songs. Fucking Fallout Boy. The new pedal should help..
Yeah, that one's a bitch too. I think I was stuck on it for a couple weeks.
Not nearly as long as I was stuck on "...Reaper," though (had to be like three months).
