    The problem is usually just that the triggers have come a little loose or slid out of position.

    If it's still not picking up your drum hits after that, you can try placing a penny or two under the trigger to get it closer to the drum head and decrease the velocity needed for it to trigger a hit.

    I've used both techniques numerous times to keep my crappy RB1 kit alive.
    Seeing as you are the one who broke them, then you can fix them.

    I could, but why would you want to wait X number of months when you could just open it up and fix it yourself in a matter of minutes?
