Expert is still missing notes btw, and mutes are never in the game anywhere, unfortunately.
This is exactly what I was complaining about. Why was "Punching Nuns" deemed not classy?
Our band scores won't be uploaded because of this, and we're not fucking changing the band name. I wrote an angry letter to them. Bullshit.
One of the top bands on the leaderboards is called "The Qu33fs"
Anyway, I tried the two songs I failed the first time again and passed them easily, but The Outlaws can fuck off. That song is a million times worse than Freebird and I'll probably never play it again.

Yeah, there's a really blatant missing note in "...And Justice For All" during the guitar riff that plays with: "See your mother/put to death/see your mother die."
People say the drums leave out a bunch of stuff, too, but I don't know any of the song's drum parts well enough to notice, aside from the parts where they simplify the bass pedal.
It's reasonable that the drum sections are cut down because, well I mean, you've only got four drums and a bass pedal, which is nowhere near enough inputs to recreate some of these bands' drum kits, and honestly, trying to recreate the performances of some of these superhero drummers would be impossible, especially when they are basically improvising.
Most of the missing kick hits I've seen (aside from simplifying some double-kicks stuff) are in the "bonus" songs. None of them seem to be for difficulty reasons. I assume note-charting can miss a hit here or there and the smaller-name songs didn't have enough time to be play tested as much as the others.
This game needs a double-bass pedal option. It's the only way.
I grabbed the Grateful Dead pack today. After playing a few of the tunes I feel it was worthwhile. They are very different from most of the tunes in the game because of the number of solos per tune and the complete difference in style from everything else currently available. I have only tried a few of the tunes on guitar. I will post some more feedback after trying them on drums tonight.
They say 60 days but I'll be amazed if they enforce that anytime soon. The hardware (although much improved now,) is a bit of a disaster. Class-action-suit-disaster.
Never been much of a "hippie jam band" fan, so I think I'll pass. I hear the guitar parts are pretty tough, and the drums are really repetitive.
I wonder if they're going to follow it up with the thrash pack to make amends with all the people who were expecting it this week? I still want to see the note charts for those songs just to see how ridiculous they are.
I believe that is the case. If it breaks, you can send it in anytime and get a new one. Just be careful if you're using the express replacement, because they have a habit of charging people for items that were actually returned on time.
