The thing is I'm out of control a lot of the time, but I'll have about 10 second pockets where I'm actually very deliberate and direct. I don't know how it happens. Ah well, KoF '98 UM first this year and that'll tide me over till KoF XII later on.

So basically, in the same way that I pretend the EX series doesn't exist, I shall also pretend there is no SFIV.

EX+a had promise, but later games just didn't raise the bar any higher or improve the gameplay. The ONLY reason I play Street Fighter EX3 is Vs-Tag Battles, because the tagging isn't as crazy as in the 2D Versus series and it uses the great music tracks from EX+a. EX2 is busted because it was basically unfinished; it didn't have single player modes like Survival but you could unlock a half-finished Survival mode with a GameShark.

EX games have really great Training modes, though.

This is the truth. I kind of regret ditching EX3 years ago, just because I want to go look at the characters now. I think I still have EX+a kicking around here somewhere, though.
