Thread: Official Xbox 360 Thread

  1. Downloaded the steel battalion demo. Garbage.

  2. Yeah, taking your hands off the controller really kills it.

You are thinking of the Game of Death perhaps? But yes. It is mandatory.

This is untrue. The initial pressing on both systems had him and after he signed the deal for Shut Up and Jam they removed him from all future copies of the game. I owned it on SNES and had Charles Barkley in it.

This has nothing to do with dashboard improvements and everything to do with you having more stuff on the hard drive since then. It's actually faster now than it used to be. Kinect slowed it for sure though (just the initial load).

  6. So are you telling me that if I erase a bunch of my XBLA games it will load faster? If that's been proven to help, I will totally do it.

  7. That's probably true. I noticed my joint loading slower once I got a bigger HDD and had more installed games on it.

Yes and no.. you could delete stuff and it could possibly make it faster... but the data that you keep could be fragmented on the drive so that will still go slow. No way to know what data is "good" and what is fragmented. The way the Xbox handles drives is super shitty and there is no defrag option like your computer has.

  9. I would just backup saves and format the drive.

  10. Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
