In the directors cut he then unzips his fly and squirts her with a flower like the joker.

Skyler is a bitch I hate, but I think Walt built her with his repetitive poor lying breaking her trust over and again.

Whoa! I didn't know he directed another one! Explains the noir lighting in the DEA office and that horribly dark bedroom.

  3. I still feel sympathetic for Skyler. Sure she's done some shitty things, but I mean, Walt? You want to talk about no empathy and being controlling? He's a different person, she has no idea who he is anymore. She's really the "normal" person who is handling it like I think most people would. This unrelenting, crushing stress and anxiety would fuck up anyone. I like how this isn't like Casino or that other played out shit where the wife is all in on the crime from the start, but when things start to go south she goes completely worthless and self destructive.

I think her imagination gets the best of her too. She knows the absolute basics of Walt does ("You're cooking meth again?"), but he keeps her completely in the dark on everything. Who, where, how. "I don't bring work home." She knows he had something to do with Gus being killed, but no idea how it went down. I get the impression that she thinks Walt had her ex lover hurt (either he did it or had someone do it) when it really was an accident. I can't recall Walt and Skyler ever having a discussion about it. When she went to see him in the hospital he was so scared he just said he wouldn't talk to anyone. She's filling in the blanks with Walt holding the gun and pulling the trigger in someones face everytime.

  4. I just hope the show doesn't have the same redemptive arc as Goodfellas, or a tragic arc like the Godfather, or any other existing mob/crime drama series. I don't want to see any of these characters redeemed, except for possibly Jesse. I want Walt to go all in.

  5. Oh he's there.

The whole thing is balls out, dick swinging wild!

Casino, The Sopranos, Godfather can't even compare to this. You really get to watch a freight train pick up and bust out down the tracks!

  6. Also: no one's talked about Hank leaving the case. This could mean my prediction of the Hank Walt shootout is out...

  7. I really wish they got more episodes. Thinking that theres only 12 more hours (and only four more this year) makes me sad.

I think I talked about this a little bit.

The problem with the case against Fring is that there's nowhere to go. There's no reason for the DEA and the US Attorney to pursue the case because: 1. Fring is dead, 2. There's no drugs left, 3. They've already seized the money. There's no one to wiretap, really. And if there were it would just lead back to Mike.

The relationship between Hank and Walt has taken kind of a friendly turn. A couple of bros, commiserating about their crazy spouses. I like it.

  9. Yeah, but his intuition, man! and that scene of the boss getting ready to leave, down out about Gus' betrayal and his double life? then Hank suddenly wanting another round? He knows. He just doesn't know it yet.

  10. Hank will be back on it, assuming they keep up with the meth production to make it clear that the cooking source is still working.
