Doesn't mean you shouldn't clean them but by the time you get to work they are going to be thrashed anyways. Even if it's not muddy the snow/salt makes them look beat.
just have the mexican clean them for you when you get to work
Properly applying wax to good leather protects it. You may have to clean and polish more often in the winter but it'll keep the shoes looking good. You can opt for rain boots but I don't think I have the attitude to wear them without feeling gay.
If it snows out I'll wear bean boots (a man's boot), and change shoes at work. My brown shows are just busted to pieces really, they need more than a shine and a wax. I might need to retire them.
I've just been wearing Keds to work lately anyway. Nobody has said anything
