So I've worn a pair of GAP Original Khakis I bought a few weeks back. I gotta say I'm not a khakis man but these are incredible. First off, they're soft to the touch. They aren't abrasive like khakis made of cheaper material. They're also flat-front so it doesn't look like someone is blowing air up from your asshole. They are very well cut and fit like grown-up pants should.
Unfortunately they aren't skinny. I've gotten accustomed to skinny pants. GAP does indeed sell skinny khakis for the spring season but I was unable to find them and in fucking New York City of all places. They exist, though. If I find a pair I'll pick one up immediately.
The price may put off some of you thriftier TNLers. Original Khakis from GAP cost $45. Skinny are about $55. I guess if you are willing to pay $30 for your Levi's skinny jeans you can pay an extra $25 for grown-up pants but I can understand having to pay almost another pair of jeans just for one pair of khakis.
Uniqlo Chinos are also the tits but that's for another time. Sadly only those who live in NYC have access to a Uniqlo. You guys are missing out on some awesome Japanese clothing.
