Actually, because of the ventilation and the fact that they're easy to clean, Crocs are used by many in the food industry. Some would argue that's a bad thing.

The Bistro model Crocs have been the best work shoes I've ever owned. In case you didn't know, I'm a line cook. The bistro model have anti-oil soles and are very comfy. When it comes to shoes I think more in terms of function than form. I have flat feet and the Dansko's help with that. As long as I'm not wearing them with shorts, I don't really see the big deal. They're oxblood leather shoes...
