Is there any way to specify this skin to have sigs and avatars off by default? It'd be cool to be able to have that skin set at work and not have to turn off avs and sigs through the control panel manually between home and work.

Weird, I use that skin when I'm at the library and it turns avs/sigs off for me.

Most of the time I'm not, but I think avs/sigs are still disabled when I login.

Actually, I just tried changing my theme just now, and sure enough, it turns off the avs/sigs for me.

I got used to having sig/avs off at work and I prefer browsing tnl this way. some of the avs and sigs including my own are annoying and distracting.
