telling the roommate and telling the guy are two different situations entirely. If her and her roommate are close then it shouldn't be a big deal, if not... then somebody else should say something.

I have to disagree on the get-your-boyfriend part. E has to stand up for herself. I'm sure she will find it a lot easier than she now imagines it to be. Just open your mouth and let the words come out. Like Jason said, you are paying to be there. You need to make him respect that.

It seems to me he is just being a typical guy and has to tone it down. There's no need to start a war without first trying to state your case. And . . . I know people will disagree here . . . I suggest you deal with him directly and not go through your friend, unless she is psychotic and would explode if you talked directly to him.

Even if I can't set him straight on my own, I'm not the type to grab someone else to do it for me (like a boyfriend.) I'm close enough with my friend that I'm not afraid to bring it up with her, but she's already knows how he is and has called him out on it a few times.

Btw, this guy is a 5 foot Filipino with long bushy hair. So having to see him walk around half-naked is really unpleasant.

the whole "tiptoeing around to not wake him up" part got to me. fuck him. make your noise, it's your fucking place. eventually he'll either get his act together or stop coming over because he can't sleep.
