flitteredpast participle, past tense of flit·ter
    Verb:
Move quickly in an apparently random or purposeless manner: "flittering around the countryside"

sounds about like what I said

    Just sayin.

also, i realize that graph isn't super reliable, but it's an interesting notion.

The arm is getting stiff and the pain is all the way down in my hand from the elbow. I hope that I didn't seriously injure myself but I'm going to have to go get it checked out tomorrow if it's not feeling any better. I seriously thought that I may have snapped a bone when it first happened. A bad injury would be just what I need right now!
When I woke up today, my entire arm was stiff and I had numbness all the way down in my hand with a little bit of swelling. Took some advil and iced it. As of now, there's still pain, but it's minimal. Think I probably just strained a muscle.

that graph is wrong. I pay 250 in rent. I could earn that in slightly less than 1 40 hour work week before taxes. If my roommate moved out, it would be 500. I could do that in two weeks before taxes. If I for some reason moved out and then moved back in and the rent went up to a more typical 600 I would still be able to do it in two weeks.

I live in one of the most expensive renting areas of MS.

    The graph exaggerates.

I always pictured flittering as a casual action, not really something you do when panicked. Like a butterfly or a hummingbird stopping at random flowers in a field. Flittering around, actively not taking shits. Could just be me, though.

  6. You're thinking of fluttered. Like the flutter ponies.

I thought flutter was the actual act of flapping the wings.

  9. I'm never heard the word NOT used derogatorily

I've only heard it used as a effeminate form of panic.

Like "that bitch about flittered when she found out her friends had left her"
