They shouldn't even call Christianity, Christianity. The church discarded 100s if not 1000s of other christian texts to make the new testament. And more than half of what got in was the writings of Paul. It should be called Paulism. A religion based on one man's relationship with the christian god. None of the NT is written by Jesus, and only the first 4 books have anything he said in it. And most of what he said was about love, believing in love, god, and faith, and not following religious texts so closely that you ignore the point of the religion. All that shit about the pharisees? That is all about how you shouldn't follow religious law so closely that you ignore the point of it.

I really don't know how Paul's shit took such a hold, honestly. Because it seems to fly in the face of what Jesus said and did in the last years of his life. Here is Jesus telling people to not stick to the religious law so much that they miss the fucking point, and then Paul comes in and shackles both Jewish converts and gentiles back to the law.

IMO, Paul is a good explanation for why so many fundies are insane. Dissonance is written into NT. If you take all of the 4 gospels and the writings of Paul together, you're going to introduce dissonance into your brain.
