Cat had a pair of kittens a little over a month ago, and the cutest one started acting very lethargic yesterday. By evening she wouldn't even walk. We tried to get her to eat/drink but she'd barely lick the water off her chops. Made an appointment first thing this morning to get her seen, but the soonest anyone would look at her was 2pm. She just died.

I wonder if it was FIP. We lost a kitten to that about 8 years ago, it was maybe 2/3 months old. Stopped eating, acted “depressed” and within a day we were told we had maybe 3 days before all of the organs shut down, or we can just put it down and save everybody some misery.

To make life worse, my distributor told me on Monday that they'd be shipping Mario on Tuesday. On Tuesday they said, whoops, sorry, we'll ship today for Wednesday. Today they said, whoops, sorry, we'll ship today for Thursday. Was so mad I said forget it, I'll just get it locally.
