I think I read part of the first book back on the day and decided it sucked. I just read the plot summary for the rest of the series, holy crap.

It sounds like the books get fucking crazy, though. Now I want to read them.

This part stuck out to me the most:

And humans have angered the demons, as humans, it seems, are the only species that actually dies.

It is explained that, for most races, when the body dies, the soul remains behind until a birth gives them a new body. Otherwise, the dead are arranged in theaters and entertained in the meantime. Humans do not work this way, they die.

THAT'S why Earth is being invaded? Some whacked out Scientology shit? wtf lol
