I have to ask one question to Cow.

Cow are you playing Co-Op? The one you described about the sniper rifle is NOT a glitch its lag. And I'm sure you know the difference, but the game on my end is extremely laggy. Due to DSL and playing with someone from across the country.

Here is the best glitch i've seen this game do yet.




Its a crappy cell phone pic, but thats the part on the raft when the big fish thing is swimming around you before you go over the falls. The game decided not to load in the water.

I wonder if something like that has to do with the DVD drive...maybe it'll load better once we're able to install to the HD next week.

Hmm, maybe it only does it on subsequent playthroughs. I went to a few random chapters after beating it and the back button skips everything, even the radio transmissions.

Yeah, and I just played thru gears 1 too and you could skip every single cut scene. BTW, how the hell are you dying that much in Gears 2 Cow? The game has been pretty easy, especially now that even AI revives you - and its rare that your entire squad will be dead all at once.

It is definitely host control, same with GoW1

Apparently there were over 1.5 million ppl playing Gears 2 this past weekend which set the record for most consecutive ppl playing on Live at one time.

Ok, seriously, played over the bit I played co-op yesterday single player, and all my complaints have pretty much vanished. WTF? Lag makes the game THAT bad? After this run (as Dom) I'll probably just host. Hammerburst rules.
