Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? wasn't that good. I dig what Dick writes, I don't really care for how he writes it, at least not anymore. I was a huge PKD mark back in high school, but I guess my taste and tolerances have changed.

As an aside, try and find a version of Androids written prior to Blade Runner, as they retconned the book to fit more along the films' timeframe.

I'm guessing the bullshit is regarding the retcon. Yeah, when I first read it in 9th grade, I read the hardbound first edition that took place in 1992. I reread it a year later, this time the one with the Blade Runner mural on it, and it took place relatively close to the movie.
