if you're running halfway current hardware i don't see how that would even be an issue. you could save like OMGONESECOND on boot time. XP is old. if you see improvement your parts are old.Originally Posted by Destin

Well I just un-installed my RC; though my desktop still says evaluation copy, and I'm downloading SP 1 right now.
I'm really happy this is out, not only from a user standpoint, but also from a retailer. It's hard to explain to people how to install an RC so their machine can be awesome, but it's easy for their computer to do this itself.
