Letterman's pretty easy. I work in times square and hear people that work for the show trying to give away tickets all the time. Conan is a definite 3 month wait, though.

I'll do some asking around and see if i can get the letterman tickets for you. I've never been either, so I might be in on that.

Letterman:

So heres the deal. According to their site:

The Late Show only tapes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and the more flexible the group can be, the more likely we will be able to accommodate the group. On most days, groups need to be available to check in during the early afternoon. We have a later taping on Monday evenings only.

Sooo, I can apply for group passes on Monday afternoon, but I doubt people will still be in town. I have to work, but its a block away from where they tape, so I could take people there, but couldn't go myself. Thats kind of a bummer.

Dammit, I don't think I'll be making it to this one. I need to save my vacation up for another trip later this year.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to bring this news:

The Baggot Inn, the best Irish bar I've ever been to, has been closed.

It came as a shock to me and I got completely shitfaced with a few friends and the bartenders last night to say goodbye to the place. I wanted to bring TNLers there because we were going to get drink deals and shit because a ton of us were going but alas, that's no longer available.

I also found out one of the comedians who performed at the comedy club upstars, Sidewalk Sam, was also killed a few days ago. Frog may know who he is but he was a local comedian and hazed me into the Baggot Inn inner circle. He was an awesome guy and he did not deserve to go out the way he did. I hope they find the kids that killed him and assfuck each and every one of them.
