The Late Show only tapes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and the more flexible the group can be, the more likely we will be able to accommodate the group. On most days, groups need to be available to check in during the early afternoon. We have a later taping on Monday evenings only.

Sooo, I can apply for group passes on Monday afternoon, but I doubt people will still be in town. I have to work, but its a block away from where they tape, so I could take people there, but couldn't go myself. Thats kind of a bummer.
There's no way this is happening on short notice for people coming in for a weekend.

  8. I like how set plans are still not made when this shit is drawing ever so near.

    Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden
    2919 24th Ave
    Astoria, NY 11102

Subway: Queens-bound N to Astoria Boulevard

    Saturday June 8, from 6PM to ???

YOU WILL NOT GET IN WITHOUT PHOTO ID

Good imported beer runs $14 a pitcher (at least it did last year). There is a decent menu of Eastern European food - you can get waitress service, or go up to a grill line whenever you want. There are a couple of vegetarian options but nothing extensive - think like a grilled portobello sandwich. Unlike a standard bar you really won't be out of place if you're not drinking.

    WEATHER PERMITTING

Unless someone has a better, concrete idea of what to do with 30 or so strangers with diverse interests, this is the plan.

  10. Sushi for $15 that includes unlimited Saki. If we make plans NOW we can probably fit this many heads there.
