I plan to ramp up the hiking now, my hiking buddy's girlfriend is spending some months in Cairo so he should have time.

Finished the 5.5 mi walk at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge (third one down on the link)just north of Olympia, WA. Got to see an eagle swoop down and catch his brunch. Beautiful day for it, too.

It's National Trails Day 2008 on June 7th, 2008. I'm going to be going on a 3-mile hike in Irvine and looking into getting a Camelbak M.U.L.E. or Hawg, or even the women's specific one's like the L.U.X.E. Any suggestions?

I watched a 2-hour PBS special on the Adirondacks a few weeks ago, and it made me want to go hiking.
Tomorrow's outdoorsy activities include washing my car in the afternoon and grilling dinner.

This summer should be jam-packed with great outdoors stuff to do. I'm planning on going hiking all over SoCal, kayaking and fishing.
